Hayo Zookeepers!
We're back with some more habitat build ideas, this time for a few of the beloved feline and fox species available in Planet Zoo. While all these animals are undeniably cute, they will have different habitat requirements, so get all the information you need to craft the perfect environment for them in the Planet Zoo guides.
Have fun building brilliant environments that will fulfil your animals needs and look fantastic in your zoo, using these habitat ideas for inspiration when selecting your construction pieces and nature!
With its distinctly large, pointed ears that keep the Fennec Fox cool, this small sociable species of canid is found in the Sahara desert, so they'll be very happy with a desert habitat filled with areas to play, hide and lounge in the sun. Craft a sandy wilderness for these little foxes to roam including Tunnels, Animal Burrows and plenty of grassy plants to hide amongst, complete with abandoned Truck Tyres and Rustic Wind Pump.
Although the Fennec Fox is a social animal, they prefer to stick to their packs, so make sure to house them in their own habitat, away from other species.
Add the Fennec Fox to your zoo with the Africa Pack for Planet Zoo.
The majestic Bengal Tiger can live in many environments, including grassland, forest and mangroves across Southeast Asia, so a plant rich, tropical temple habitat gives them the variety and space to thrive & explore!
Create a large enclosure, making sure your walls are climb proof, and build a temple structure with the Indian Architecture pieces and Indian Sculptures. Make sure to give the Bengal Tiger plenty of Climbable Platforms and Frames to keep them entertained & active. In the wild, the Bengal Tiger would hunt large prey, like goats, deer and cows, but in your Zoo you can give them the next best thing; a Piñata Zebra!
This powerful animal is best suited to a solo habitat away from other species, where it can only interact with other Bengal Tigers, for the upmost comfort.
The Bengal Tiger is a base game species for Planet Zoo, available to all players.
Native to the deserts of North Africa, the Sand Cat will flourish in an arid habitat complete with sandy rocks and dry, hardy plants. They'll love laying around on the Small Animal Climbing Frames of their desert oasis and relaxing in the hidden away Animal Burrow. The perfect finishing touch to this little paradise would be a small area of shallow water, surrounded with plenty of lush plants.
The Sand Cat might look like a domestic house cat but this feisty feline is not comfortable sharing its space, so make sure you house them in their own habitat.
With the Arid Animal Pack, you'll be able to add the Sand Cat for your zoos!
